- [Instructor] Your activities and your Timeline help you track, schedule, and manage everything from calls, emails, meetings, to-dos, reminders, and follow-ups. This helps you keep on track with your clients. When you schedule appointments or meetings with your clients, they will automatically populate into the Timeline due to the integration with the other applications in Microsoft 365, however, sometimes we need to record an activity that happened on the fly. In the Timeline pane, click the plus button, and let's select Phone Call. This helps us record the details of a phone call that we may have had with our customer. Notice the red asterisk that appears on some of the fields. These are required, and you must fill them out in order to save this record. Let's go to the Subject. This was an outgoing call to Alex yesterday to introduce myself as the new Client Manager.
