- [Instructor] You've worked hard to develop a promising opportunity, and now it's time for the next big step: creating a proposal. With Dynamics 365, you can create, manage, and track proposals easily, ensuring your sales process is smooth and efficient. Let's dive in. To create a proposal, first you need to have some products identified within your quote. Let's go to the Products tab. We previously quoted a high-end coffee machine worth $14,900. Our client has now requested the quote. To create a quote, click the Quotes tab, and then select the option for a new quote. The quote ID and revision ID are automatically created for you. This is not something you can change, it's in the admin settings. However, we do have some leeway. Maybe that $14,900 was too steep of a price tag. Let's give them a discount. In this case, we'll give them 10%. It's going to cost us about $800 to ship the unit. Let's add the freight amount. Notice that the tax and total amount are locked. These are…
