- [Instructor] PowerPoint is packed with features that can make designing slides faster and easier if you know where to find them. In this lesson, we'll cover some of the most powerful tools to help you arrange, align, and duplicate objects effortlessly. Let's start with the arrange dropdown. This menu gives you precise control over how objects are positioned on your slides. Now it's grayed out mostly because I don't have anything selected, and we're going to fix that. First, let's talk about the most important one of these features, align objects. Nothing makes a slide look more sloppy faster than misaligned objects. They stick out like a sore thumb and can make your presentation look unpolished. Luckily, PowerPoint's alignment tools fix this in seconds. Now these text box on my slide need to be aligned in the same position on the left and spaced out evenly. So I'm going to select them all by holding the shift key and selecting each one.
