What you should know
- [Narrator] Before you start this course, you should have a general idea about the system architecture in industrial automation, as well as you're a little bit familiar with how ladder logic programming works using the basic instructions like how to use input and output instructions and timer instruction. I will cover everything needed for this course. However, to get you prepared, I recommend the following. First, to get familiar with the software that I'm going to use for the SCADA project in chapter four, check the following course, "Simulation Software: Factory I/O with Connected Components Workbench." The course covers an introduction to the two software, as well as working on four projects. In this SCADA course, I'll be using the project in chapter five filling a water tank. And if you need a refresher on the basics of ladder logic programming or if you have zero experience, I recommend that you check my course "Learning PLC Ladder Logic" where I teach ladder logic programming from scratch. I also recommend checking out this course "Learn Industrial Automation" that goes through each level of the industrial automation field.
