(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Okay, and now I'm back and hopefully you've managed to make your hip roof, but let me show you how I would do it. Now, this one is a little tricky, I must admit, but let's go ahead and I'm going to just redraw the entire house, that'll make it much easier. So I'm going to start off with a rectangle. Let's just do the base of the house. So that's 16 by 40 feet. So drag that out, type 16 feet, 40 feet, and there we go. And it's nine feet high. Pull that up, nine feet. Now the first little issue is this overhang or a soffit. And so that's eight inches high around the edge, and then a one foot overhang. And so that's pretty straightforward to do, so all I'm going to do is select this face. Again, P for push pull, and then touch control, because we're going to add geometry. And then I'm going to bring that up eight inches. And so now I've got that, I'm going to select this face. And again…
