- [Instructor] Setting up hotkeys in OBS can streamline your streaming workflow, making it easier to manage scenes, sources, and other functions on the fly. Hotkeys are powerful tools that allow you to execute commands quickly without disrupting your stream, giving you greater control and efficiency during live broadcasts. Here's how to set them up. We're going to head over to the settings menu and we're going to move over to the hotkeys tab here. And here you see a long list of actions that can be assigned to hotkeys. These actions are divided by scenes and sources, so you can set hotkeys for tasks, like switching scenes, starting and stopping recording, muting audio sources and more. To set a hotkey, find the action you want to assign a shortcut to. Click on the box next to the action and press the key combination you want to use.
