Custom view, part 1: Set up a custom view

- [Bonnie] Bonnie Biafore here. Suppose you want to look at your project in a specific way. For instance, to review performance. This tip shows you how to get a custom view created quickly. Well, the first thing you want to do is choose a view that has a lot of the features that you already want. And in this case I'm going to use the Tracking Gantt. So on the Task tab I'm going to click the bottom half of the Gantt Chart button. When I see the shortcut menu I'm going to choose Tracking Gantt to apply that view. Now one of the reasons that I like the Tracking Gantt for reviewing performance I'm going to show you by going over to the right end of the ribbon and click Scroll to Task. In the time scale the Tracking Gantt has two sets of bars. The gray bars show you the baseline for the project and the blue or red bars show you the current schedule.
