Reuse lookup tables and formulas

- [Bonnie] Hi, I'm Bonnie Biafore. In this Project tip, I'll show you how to reuse existing lookup tables and formulas in custom fields. I have a Project file open in Microsoft Project that has custom elements in it, some formulas, lookup tables, and just custom fields in general, and I wanna bring some elements into a brand new blank project that I'm creating. So let's start by creating that new file. I can go to the File tab, click New, and then click Blank Project. So now I have my new blank project open, and I also have the other project with my custom fields open, and that's important. But let's say that we wanna import a field with all of its customizations. To do that, I'm gonna go to the Project tab and in the Properties section click Custom Fields. That opens up the Custom Fields dialog box. The first thing we do here is we have to select the field that we want to import into. So in this case, I'm gonna go to the Type drop-down and I wanna choose a number field. The field…
