- [Instructor] As I move through this course, you're going to see some pretty cool things you can do with NotebookLM. Before we start, there are a few things you need to know. NotebookLM is a tool. Use this as a tool just like you would with anything else powered by AI to accomplish what you want. This means you really need to think through what you want to accomplish. You, not the AI, are in control, rather than letting the AI make the decisions for you. Choose relevant source documents. The quality of the responses provided by NotebookLM are directly tied to the quality of the source documents. With quality input, the insights provided are precise. If you just throw a bunch of documents into NotebookLM, and expect it to make sense of the information in those documents, the odds are pretty good the results will be irrelevant, and in many cases, just plain wrong.
