- [Instructor] The publications you crate here in Publisher are basically pages of objects that have been laid out, whether you create them from scratch or use a template to get a head start like we did with our HP brochure 0301 if you're skipping to this movie or catching up. Here on page one for example we can click in this green area in the left-hand panel and see that there are handles around the outside. This is an object and it looks like it's simply a rectangle. But clicking the text on this inside, you can see it's its own object laid on top of the green rectangle. There are objects that appear in the middle panel, they're simply text boxes also considered objects. Over here on the right we have an image and this is an image we can replace with our own and we will, but it too is an object. So what I'd like to explore in this movie is the area around the outside of our page called the Scratch Area, it's a great place to…
