Multiple choice questions: Quick trends and patterns
- [Instructor] Multiple choice questions are a great way to ask some types of survey-style questions so that you can assess the frequency and distribution of answer choices. You might choose to ask people to report what tools they're using, what elements of the experience they found appealing, or to explain their reasoning, while also enabling them to characterize or categorize your feedback to support really quick assessment and review. Also, you can use multiple choice questions as a quiz to determine if people found the correct answer or information in the case that you're trying to learn whether information's findable. Some best practices to keep in mind. Give people an out. There should be an answer choice that lets people know they don't know, have another idea or that none of the answers apply.
