- When we trust the people we work with and when they trust us, it makes everything go better. There are all kinds of trust at play here. There is trusting someone to speak with you directly and honestly instead of behind your back. There's trusting that your colleagues will deliver on their commitments and that they'll treat you respectfully and back you up. And there's even trusting that people are going to give you constructive feedback when there's something you can improve. All those kinds of trust are hard to build, and they can be tricky to develop or sustain anywhere but maybe especially when you're working as part of a remote or a hybrid team.
