Creating an analytical system zone

- [Instructor] Okay, this one took me a little while to figure out. In Revit we can now create system zones by simply drawing a line that we want the rooms connected into the zone. To get started, let's jump into Revit. Under Models, let's go Open. Browse to where you're keeping your exercise files. Let's go MEP Progress_Zones. Click Open. Let's go to the Analyze tab. Now under Energy Optimization let's click System-Zone. Let's zoom into here. I want to draw a line just between exam 105 and 106. Just like that. Hit escape a few times. For the name, we'll just call it EXAM 105 to 106. The Zone Equipment, let's grab our VAV. Click Apply. Click Finish. Let's keep going. Notice that we could edit the system zone if we wanted to but there's not much extra we can do here so we can just close out of there. Hit escape a few times. Go back to System Zone.
