- I've mentioned before that there are no such thing as layers in Revit. So how do we control things like showing items to be demolished, or how do we show existing to remain? Revit has fantastic phasing capabilities. We can literally select an item, tell Revit when it was created, when it's going to be demolished, or if it's not being demolished at all. And of course, when something is going to be brand new. So let's jump into Revit. Under models let's go open, browse to where you're keeping your exercise files. Let's go to Revit workflow phasing. Click open. So the first thing I want to do is look at the phase settings. So if you go to the manage tab. Let's go to phases right here. Now we have project phases. We have phase filters.
