Create a title block family with detail grid

- [Instructor] The default multi-discipline template that's included with the latest release of Revit includes a title block that has a detailed grid. So let me show you that. I'm going to go to the new models here, create a new model based on the imperial multi-discipline template. When it opens, I will scroll down on the Project Browser, locate the sheets branch. I'm going to open up the sheet called A501 Architectural Details. Select the title block. And then over here on the Properties palette on the type selector, you can see that there are a couple different E1 title blocks, the one that we have visible and then this one here with grid. The one with grid has this nice detail grid, which helps keep our detail sheets organized. Now if you further investigate this title block, you will see over here on the Properties palette that there is a Number of Columns parameter to which you can input your own values.…
