Change an instance state
- [Instructor] As you look at the EC2 console, you can see that I have a single instance and that that instance is currently up and running. The way that we can tell it's running is by looking at the Instance state column. You can see the instance state column right here, and you can see that the instance is indeed running. And we can actually get a little bit more information because if I were to select this instance, several different tabs appear at the bottom of the screen. The details tab confirms that the instance is indeed running as you can see right here. If I click on the Status and alarms tab, you can see that there are a couple of status checks that check on the health of the instance. There's a system reachability check that passed. There's also an instance reachability check that has passed. Additionally, I can click on the Monitoring tab, and this gives us some performance metrics for the instance, so we can see that the instance up and running and we can see how it's…
