Create an FSx Windows file server
- [Narrator] In the previous portion of this course, I showed you how to deploy the active directory as a managed service within the Amazon Cloud. Now, the active directory is not the only Windows-related service that you can run as a managed service. You can also deploy a Windows-based file server as a managed service. And that's what I want to show you how to do. So as you can see, I'm logged into AWS and I'm on the main portal screen. What I'm going to do is click on Services and then I'm going to scroll down a bit and I'll click on Storage. From there, I'm going to click on FSX, and this takes me into the Amazon FSX console. And you'll notice that we're taken to a screen that lists our file systems. And there's a message saying that you don't have any file systems. So what I want to do is create an FSX file system. So I'm going to click on Create File System, and when I do, I'm taken to a screen that asks me what type of file system I want to create. And as you can see, we have a…
