BMD Group’s Post

The last lift on the Molonglo River Bridge, from every angle. 👀 Segment 20 marked the end of eight weeks of precision lifting on what will be Canberra’s largest weathering steel bridge – a 200 metre crossing over the Molonglo River. The CC8800-1 crawler crane (one of only two in Australia) is now being packed down and loaded onto 120 trucks for transport to its next job in Karratha, Western Australia. After a year and half of planning, seamless coordination and some seriously heavy lifts, the crane’s job is done. 👏 #BMD #MolongloRiverBridge #PoweringFutures #CreatingLegacies Tutt Bryant Group Limited Rizzani de Eccher pitt&sherry GHD ACT Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts
