Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance is thrilled to receive incredible feedback from the team at NHS England following their recent Creating Careers Live 2025 event, showcasing roles within cancer treatment and care. Leon Pietrzak, Youth Development Manager (North West) at NHS England, said: “Your energy and passion shined through, and everyone that you supported gained a fantastic insight into various roles and possible next steps towards theirs. Thank you for being a super Ambassador for Health and Social Care. Your support is truly appreciated, and you are doing a simply brilliant job.” The event, held at Warrington Campus, Chester University, was a huge success with 70 Year 10 students having the chance to hear about vital roles within cancer services, and an impressive 85% indicated they would consider a career in cancer care after the event.
