With Care homes sitting at the intersection between social care, primary care and community pharmacy it is so important to understand what the cost of wasteful systems are- not just financial and environmental but also on staff time and experience of those in care homes. Couldn't have done it with the wonderful Nuala Hampson. A total powerhouse of a project manager.
💊 Did you know? Medicines waste costs the NHS at least £300 million per year and has significant environmental impacts. CSH has recently been involved in a project exploring the environmental and social impacts of medicines waste.
