From Concept to Community, here’s how this Streetscape Design will take shape. We're currently in the Community Consultation phase, seeking your input on draft concept designs for George and Moore Streets. ✅ Concept Development Preliminary layouts prepared to illustrate wider footpaths, additional street trees, upgraded lighting, new street furniture, separated bike lanes, and prioritised pedestrian crossings. ✅ Community Consultation (current stage) We are actively inviting residents, businesses, and visitors to review the concept designs and provide feedback. Your insights will help refine the project, so it reflects local needs. ✅ Design Refinement After consultation closes on 4 August 2025, all submissions will be reviewed. The design team will adjust the plans to balance technical requirements and community priorities. ✅ Detailed Design and Approvals Final plans, schedules, and construction documents to be completed, followed by statutory and funding approval to ensure the project is delivered to the highest standard. ✅ Construction and Delivery Subject to approval and funding, construction will be in stages to lower disruption, with regular updates provided to the community.
