🚭 Cheshire & Merseyside hits a new milestone in helping people quit smoking! The latest NHS Digital figures for 2024/25 show a record-breaking year for local stop smoking services: 🔹 14,500+ quit dates set 🔹 7,500+ successful quits – a 14% increase from last year 🔹 52% quit rate for those using local services 🔹 33% increase in quit attempts from 2023/24 This local success mirrors a national trend, with 128,000 people quitting smoking across England – the highest since 2017/18. 👏 A huge thank you to all the teams and partners working tirelessly to support people on their quit journey.
