Congrats to the control room team involved in the response to the incident following the Liverpool FC parade. Earlier this month, they picked the judges' prize at the Control Room Awards 2025 in conjunction with colleagues from Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fire and Rescue, for their extraordinary teamwork and response to the major incident. Attending the ceremony on behalf of NWAS was Integrated Contact Centre Performance Manager Ryan Stanfield, who was one of the team on duty that day. Head of ICC John Kelly says, “Everyone involved can be rightly proud of this recognition. I’m incredibly pleased, and it's a great reward for the work they do every day, not only during incidents like the one seen after the Liverpool Parade.”
