North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust’s Post

Did you know that assistance dogs can travel on board our ambulances? If you are patient and have an assistance dog, they can travel with us on our patient transport and emergency ambulances. We have recently refreshed our assistance dog guidance, available to all our staff, to help ensure not only our patients but also their assistance dogs are safely secured in our vehicles.
