Introducing SGC‑170: A New Giant Crane by Sarens
When progress demands power, Sarens rises to the challenge.
Meet the SGC‑170, the newest addition to our legendary super‑heavy lift fleet—and one of the most powerful land‑based cranes in the world. With a 170.000 tonne‑metre load moment and a 3.200 tonnes lifting capacity, the SGC‑170 is a true titan, second only to our legendary SGC‑250—which held the record as the largest land‑based crane on the planet for six years. But this isn’t just another crane. It’s a leap forward. Read more about SGC-170 here. For technical information, you can find the commercial brochure of the crane and here the large SGC Family of cranes brochure: https://lnkd.in/dm6NhRF4
When progress demands power, we rise to the challenge. Introducing the SGC 170. Sarens's newest giant with a staggering 170,000 ton meter load moment and 3200 tons lifting capacity. It's one of the most powerful land based cranes in the world. Fully electric, 0 emissions, minimal energy use, maximum impact. Designed for the tightest sites. Engineered for the heaviest lips. The as you see, 170 isn't just another crane, it's a big step forward, build from scratch and powered by fully electrical modular Dr. frame we've developed in house. 10 years ago, logging a crane like this into the grid would have been unthinkable. We've created a machine that's more efficient, more sustainable and ready for the toughest jobs anywhere in the world. We've engineered it to evolve with fewer connections, bigger parts. For easy transport and a faster assembly and the reinforced grain frame that lets us relocate the crane in less than one week. The main rule which ship can lift 1300 tons at more than 200 meters high and the whole crane can be adapted to meet the clients needs. From the first sketch on this whiteboard to the final lift on site, the SGC 170 is 100% Serens. A true Titan, second only to our legendary SC 250 built in 2025. Born for the future. SGC 170. Because when the world needs heavy lifting, they call Team Blue and we rise to the challenge. Nothing too heavy, nothing too high series.
