Our very own Sam Kashefi is back at it – lugging a mobile DJ setup for 14km through Sydney for this year’s City2Surf. Why? For a bit of fun, a lot of sweat, and most importantly, to raise funds for Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. Let's support the mission... 'Wishing you all the best, Sam.
🎶🎵 𝟭𝟰𝗸𝗺 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧, 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗧, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗦 🏃♂️💦 Imagine a cardio session meets mobile nightclub… with zero structural support… Well in 2023, I did the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆𝟮𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗳 – all 14km of it – 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗝 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 Why? Great question. Midlife crisis? Early onset? Maybe just poor decision-making. Honestly, still not sure. But I survived, the decks survived, and the story made it into print. 📎 Here’s the article for those who need proof (or a laugh) https://shorturl.at/99UT4 Fast forward to 2025, and I’m doing it 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 this August, naturally. This time I’ve convinced a few mates and Seymour Whyte colleagues to join – yes, they still speak to me (sometimes) – and we’re raising funds for a cause that’s well worth the calf cramps while turning heads and probably ankles. 👉🏽 One goal: 𝙍𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 – Chris O'Brien Lifehouse It’s going to be heavy, sweaty, and slightly absurd – but totally worth it if we make ourselves heard. Donate if you can. Or just laugh, share, and send good vibes (and maybe electrolytes!) Every bit helps, motivates us through the hills, and makes carrying the gear feel less insane / slightly lighter. We’re trading logic for purpose, and beats for blisters – and we’d love your support ❤️ 🔗 𝗦𝗲𝘆𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 https://lnkd.in/gQYqAtdb
