This weekend we were in Brighton for the UK Youth Parliament Annual Conference. The North West had incredible representation at the conference with a huge number of 55 young people traveling down for the weekend. The aim of the weekend was to come up with conclusions and recommendations and add statistics and local examples to provide evidence for each of the manifesto points that the members came up with last year. This was no small task but the members of youth parliament worked hard to achieve this, and presented the findings from each of the 6 committees to the rest of the youth Parliament. The work done this weekend will form the basis of the report and future campaigns for the current members of UK Youth Parliament.
