🏢 Celebrating 30 Years: NUVIA opens new premises in Czech Republic   A look back at the opening of our newly upgraded facilities in Třebíč, Czech Republic—an important milestone marking three decades of innovation and excellence at NUVIA CZ. Designed to better serve our clients, enhance technological development, and promote team collaboration, these modern premises represent a significant investment in our future. 🎉 At the end of June, we hosted a public open day welcoming students, community members, partners, and employee families—showcasing our technologies, projects, and daily work environment. This was followed by an employee and family celebration on-site, where we could express our gratitude in a relaxed atmosphere over good food, music, and lively conversation.   ✨ A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us—our colleagues, partners, VINCI Construction CZ, clients, and community supporters. Your presence and enthusiasm brought these celebrations to life. It was wonderful to share with you the work we have dedicated ourselves to for the past thirty years. [WE CARE – PERFORMANCE]   💡SMRs in the UK: Strategic Advances and Industrial Opportunities   The UK government's recent announcement on the progress of its national Small Modular Reactor (SMR) programme reinforces its commitment to energy transition and industrial revitalisation. The official appointment of Rolls-Royce SMR to lead the first projects marks a significant step toward the deployment of next-generation nuclear technologies.   📝NUVIA UK recognises how SMRs can deliver a cleaner, more resilient and future-ready energy system. Our Director of New Build, David Price recently co-authored an article published in Nuclear Future (Nuclear Institute - Mar/Apr 2025 edition) entitled “Diverse SMR Siting in the UK”.   As David Price notes: “There are potential sites in the UK that can enable optimised siting near industry — if enablers are met, such as community acceptance, agreed safety approaches, and national infrastructure investment.”   The article explores the role of SMRs not only in clean energy generation, but also as a solution for industrial decarbonisation, hydrogen production and co-generation. It highlights how SMRs can be strategically located near industrial clusters, enabling the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors such as steel, chemicals and refining. [WE CARE – PEOPLE & CSR] 🎯 Retour sur le Raid VINCI Méditerranée 2025 – Un week-end d’aventure, de sport et de cohésion dans les Gorges du Verdon ! 🌄🚴♂️🏃♀️🛶 Les 14 et 15 juin derniers, près de 250 participants – collaborateurs VINCI et étudiants d’écoles d’ingénieurs – se sont retrouvés à Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon pour relever le défi du 8e Raid VINCI Aventure Méditerranée.
