SUEZ and the #UkraineRecovery Conference in Rome (10-11 July) #URC2025 Through our participation, we demonstrated our strong support for Ukraine's resilience and recovery, showcasing our expertise in accelerating access to water through solutions such as compact water treatment units and the rehabilitation of essential infrastructure. We were particularly honored to meet Ioulia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and then to meet the First Lady of Ukraine, Mrs. Olena Zelenska, who chairs the Zelenska Foundation, in the presence of French Minister Laurent Saint-Martin and Pierre HEILBRONN. Two MoUs were signed with the Association of Water Utilities of Ukraine “Ukrovodokanalkelogiya” and the Ukrainian Water Association (UWA) respectively represented by Dmytro Novytsyi and Pavlo Nalyvaiko. The agreements involve collaborating to identify municipalities with urgent or long-term needs, assessing and recommending technical solutions, exploring financing mechanisms to implement concrete projects, and raising awareness among Ukrainian authorities of SUEZ’s expertise in water management and sustainable resource development.

👩 At SUEZ, the International Women's Rights Day is a year-round event!  Today, we're highlighting +200 which is the number of SUEZ’s employees who are engaged in associations working for women's rights. Among these associations we can find: ➡️ Règles élémentaires, fighting against menstrual insecurity ➡️ Capital Filles, providing young women from priority rural neighbourhoods all the keys they need to seize their future ➡️ La Fondation des Femmes, fighting for women’s rights in general and against violences ➡️ DesCodeuse, training and developing the technical skills of women from working-class neighbourhoods. At the Terres d'Aquitaine site, near Bordeaux in France, where we recover organic waste into compost and renewable energy and where we inaugurated a new biogenic CO₂ recovery unit this week, we have implemented a climate change adaptation plan. What does this mean in concrete terms? It allows us to analyse the extreme weather events, such as droughts, storms and floods, to which the site could be exposed in the medium and long term, and to anticipate the necessary solutions. By 2027, all of our priority sites that are vulnerable to the consequences of climate change will have a defined adaptation action plan. Anticipation allows us to adapt more efficiently. #SUEZSustainableStories

🚰 SUEZ commits to a sustainable future in Kochi, India   As part of the Kerala Urban Water Services Improvement Programme (KUWSIP), funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Kerala, SUEZ will support the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) in modernising, operating and maintaining the city of Kochi's water supply system.   This 10-year duration performance-based contract aims to: ✅ Supply quality water 24/7 to nearly 700,000 residents, ✅ Reduce water losses to 20% by renovating the network, ✅ Extend access to water with 146,500 new connections.   To achieve these goals, the Group will deploy innovative technologies such as remote meter reading and the SCADA system, as well as a real-time monitoring tool (RoPES). Reducing water loss will contribute to the sustainable management of water resources, ensuring the long-term resilience of Kochi’s water supply infrastructure and aligning with India’s broader environmental and sustainability objectives.

👩 At SUEZ, the International Women's Rights Day is a year-round event!  Today, we're highlighting 2024 which is the date of SUEZ’s signature of a new European Health and Safety Agreement. It includes preventive actions and support for our employees who are victims of violence, whether inflicted by third parties at the workplace or domestic violence. The Group is committed to fighting all forms of harassment in the workplace. Protect In keeping with the last week's United Nations Ocean Conference #UNOC3, this new #SUEZSustainableStories focuses on an experiment in Martinique aimed at safeguarding coastal areas and their inhabitants, this is also a way of preserving the ocean! SUEZ and the Centre de la Martinique urban community, in partnership with the French Biodiversity Agency, have taken inspiration from nature, and in this case from mangroves, to better protect the Étang Z'Abricots marina, on the Caribbean island, from cyclones and rising sea levels 🌊. Over 500 m² of lightweight structures made of wood, bamboo and coconut fibre have been installed to create favourable conditions for the mangrove to expand. This will reinforce many of its positive effects, such as providing coastal protection against waves, acting as a carbon sink and providing a habitat for many animal species, particularly fish 🐟.

🌊 It’s a wrap for a week of collective commitment to the oceans at #UNOC3!   SUEZ is proud to have been a partner of the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference, hosted in Nice and such a leading international event is a fantastic occasion to remind what we defend at SUEZ: Protecting the oceans starts on land!   Our actions in water and waste services are concrete, our solutions innovative to support the blue transition. During the conference, our teams took part in panels, round tables and from our #TheStartUpReef pavilion to share widely the SUEZ convictions and answers to face big challenges such as: 🔹preserving coastal territories and the people living there 🔹protecting the oceans from pollution and regenerating ecosystems 🔹adapting infrastructure to climate change 🔹territorial cooperation as a means of strengthening coastal resilience   The Group is committed to the long term, designing and deploying innovative solutions to improve environmental knowledge, restore ecosystems and support the adaptation of coastal areas to the effects of climate change.   👏 Thank you to all the teams and partners involved in this collective effort to protect the oceans and coastal regions. SUEZ announces the appointment of Xavier Girre as CEO.    The Board of directors, chaired by Thierry Déau, unanimously approved today the proposition of the Nomination and Compensation Committee.    Xavier Girre has acquired solid managerial, industrial, and financial experience over the course of more than 25 years. He brings with him a sound expertise of the water and waste industries and a good knowledge of SUEZ, being a member of the Board of directors and Chairman of the Group's CSR Committee since June 2023.    Xavier Girre was previously Group Senior Executive Vice President in charge of the Performance, Impact, Investment and Finance Directorate at EDF.    He will take up his position on July 1st, 2025.    Welcome to SUEZ! ---------- SUEZ annonce la nomination de Xavier Girre au poste de Directeur général.     Le Conseil d’administration de SUEZ, présidé par Thierry Déau, a voté aujourd’hui à l’unanimité la proposition du Comité des nominations et rémunérations.  Xavier Girre a acquis depuis plus de 25 ans une solide expérience managériale, industrielle et financière.
