Gridstack animate not working on version 12 #3043

Gridstack animate Not Working as Expected on 12.1.1 version
The grid-stack-animate class is not being applied to the grid-stack top level grid, causing the animate option to not work as intended. This behavior is also visible on the official Gridstack demo page: https://gridstackjs.com/demo/column.html as well.
Even if the animiate option is sent as true manually it is not setting the grid-stack-animate properly.
This issue was not present in older versions of Gridstack (e.g., version 11.1.1)
Current Version: 12.1.1
Working Old GS Version That I was in: 11.1.1
Would appreciate any insights on this.
