**** WE'RE HIRING - SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER IN GROUP TEAM **** PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE. One of my team has recently been promoted and is moving across into BBC Commercial to lead on our sustainability activity in BBC Studios. So we're hiring for a sustainability manager to join the central Group team as we position experts out in the business as part of our transition towards being a leaner, greener, resource efficient and Nature Positive BBC. What's the role? This is a key role in the central sustainability team helping us decarbonise the BBC and reach our Net Zero targets. The role is focused on operational decarbonisation, particularly Scope 1 and 2 emissions sources, buildings, power and production, working with colleagues across the whole of the BBC and our wider industry. It’s an exciting and pivotal role working with one of the best technical teams in sustainability. The BBC Sustainability team We’re a team of change makers and collaborators that are recognised for our subject matter expertise. We pride ourselves on our technical expertise with a focus on delivery. We’re agile, curious and set ourselves high standards in sustainability practice.
