When I set up a meeting series to occur on the fourth Wednesday of each month, for example, the calendar invite defaults to read "Occurs every fourth Wednesday." This is incorrect. The problem is more obvious if the meeting falls on, say, the second Wednesday (or whatever day) of the month. The invite then reads "Occurs every second Wednesday." No it does not! "Occurs on the second Wednesday monthly" is what it should read. Please fix!!!33Views1like1CommentAllow muting a person only for me
Sometimes I am in a meeting where one of the persons in the meeting is actually near me in the world outside the screen. In this case the sound is a bit maddening since there is a small delay between the sound from the person and the sound through the teams interface. In these cases, I would like to mute the person only for me since I am sitting near and can hear the person fine without headphones. Right now I need to takeoff headphones when the person is talking and putting it back as the person finishes talking.121KViews171likes146CommentsTeams meeting policy "allow everyone" not working - anonymous users stuck in lobby
Hey! Anyone else having issues with the Teams meeting policy for participants and guests not taking effect or just not working as supposed to? I am doing some testing and ran into an issue with these settings. That is, let anonymous start a meeting and auto admit everyone (this was assigned to a meeting organizer last night). It seems to be OK (yay) as the organizer gets this prompt (the guest in this case is a gmail.com user) But when joining the meeting as organizer it's not started. The anon guest(s) is actually waiting in the lobby. And from the gmail.com users Teams session it's not started either, just waiting "we'll let people know.." Tried in desktop and web, same behavior. In general I get the feeling that the settings for a separate meeting (the meeting options that a end-user can set per meeting) doesn't work either, or at least it's buggy. Any feedback appreciated. Hello Experts, We've read that from this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/intelligent-recap-calls-meetings The intelligent recap/AI notes for meetings license requirement is Teams Premium "or" M365 Copilot license. However, when we test this for a couple of test users that only has Copilot license(paid) but without Teams Premium. The AI Notes in Teams Meetings Recap is locked. See sample screenshot. We confirmed that the AI Notes is unlocked once you have Teams Premium license but this seems like a bug or maybe an error from the official article. Can someone from the engineering team confirm this? Your help is highly appreciated.60Views0likes0CommentsSDI Outputs via AJA IO 4K Plus
Hello, I am trying to use SDI Outputs with an AJA IO 4K Plus output card, and I am having trouble getting more than 1 output at a time. Please see the attached video for a demonstration: sdioutput_diagnostic.mp4 I have verified that the output card works outputting 4 signals from another software, so this seems to be an issue specifically with Teams. I have updated all my software including Teams, AJA software, GPU drivers and Thunderbolt drivers. Please let me know if anyone has more experience getting this working properly, thanks! -Jonah Luscombe611Views0likes1CommentCreate an SOP with screenshots from a meeting recording
MS Copilot can prepare notes from a transcript, but it cannot take relevant screenshots from a meeting's recording (video). It does not accept MP4 files at all. I was expecting this functionality to be available, but it is not. There are some websites and tools available on the Internet that claim to help with this, but I am not comfortable using them as I do not want to compromise my company's data. Is there any other Microsoft tool available that can help with this? Please note that it needs to create a step-by-step SOP from a video recording, providing a description of each step along with respective screenshots. Kindly help!139Views0likes2CommentsAccessing Meeting Participant List via a Teams App (not a Bot)?
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a Microsoft Teams App (not a bot), and I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to programmatically access the participant list of a meeting - either during or after the meeting - directly from within the app context. Here are my specific questions: Is it possible for a Teams app (not a bot) to access the list of meeting participants? If yes, what are the required conditions (e.g. permissions, app manifest settings, API endpoints, etc.)? Are there any restrictions regarding the app context (e.g. does it have to be running in a meeting side panel, meeting stage, etc.)? If anyone has experience with this or can clarify whether this is possible at all, I’d greatly appreciate your input! Thanks in advance, Michael127Views0likes4CommentsStarLeaf + Teams integration
Hi all, I have a user that wants to integrate StarLeaf into one of his Microsoft Teams group. He is not the owner of the group. The issue he reported: "Currently, Starleaf for Teams is installed, but when there is any attempt to setup using the integration token generated from our systems admin in Starleaf, an error occurs." The link for instructions he used: https://support.starleaf.com/integrating/starleaf-for-microsoft-teams/#3-Install+StarLeaf+for One of the errors he gets: "Something went wrong. Reinstall StarLeaf for Teams." Any idea of what to do? Kind regards, Dino1.5KViews1like4CommentsAccessing Meeting Participant List via a Teams App (not a Bot)?

I have a client who wishes to have all their meeting recordings saved to a local server for offline backups and also their policy requires them to have these files locally available. Is there a way that this can be done by automating since it's possible to download the files and trasnfer manually. Was trying to look at the Microsoft Graph but no luck yet. Any help on this will appreciate2.6KViews0likes5Comments
