Hi, Download button disappeared again from the Stream view of the video when it is shared via Anonymous link using Can view Setting. Can view setting also wrongly presents the description as: Anyone with the link can view but can't download which in essence is true but it shouldn't be true for the Can view setting. When I switch to Can't download and Apply it and then go back to the link settings and choose Can view, I get the correct description: Anyone with the link can view. However, when opened, the video still doesn't have the Download button. Marc Mroz is this planned shift in regard to Stream revamp or just a unintended side effect - bug? Thank you for the effort. When screen sharing people see black screen
Hi, I had Thinkpad laptop and was using additional monitor on and off without any issues and suddenly since 2-3 weeks, when I am trying to share my screen, people are just seeing black screen. This is with both option i,e. when using laptop alone and also with additional monitor. Note there were no issues earlier. Last weekend, I got a new laptop which is MS Surface 3, and after installing all MS apps on this machine, I am having the same issue. This is without any additional monitors. This is causing issues for me and my team and would appreciate quick resolution. Thanks and Regards, VirenSolved187KViews4likes53CommentsHide bar at top of teams sharing

For the past week whenever we share a file the recipient is not receiving the email notification that a file has been shared with them. We're manually having to copy the shared link and send an additional email to let them know we've shared a file. Can someone share some insight? Thanks!2.7KViews0likes1CommentOneDrive Sharing Links - Does the "Guest Access Expiry policy" Apply to "Specific People" Links?
I'm having an issue with a OneDrive integration in an application I'm developing. The integration allows creating "Specific People" sharing links, which are emailed to external users and require them to authenticate their email before accessing the shared file/folder. I have seen in many places that "Specific People" sharing links do not expire. There is no expiry field available when creating the link, and I can't find any expiry settings in the Sharepoint Admin Center that seem to apply to "Specific People" links. However, some of my clients using my OneDrive integration have noticed that many of their "Specific People" links get dropped unexpectedly after a period of one or two months. I have also been able to reproduce this issue in my developer account. There is one setting in the Sharepoint Admin Center that seems like it might apply: Guest Access to a site or OneDrive will expire automatically after this many days Since I've seen many references to the fact that "Specific People" links never expire, I thought this setting was not relevant. I also interpreted "Guest Access" as referring to "Guest Users", which can be added in the M365 Admin Center. My integration does not make any use of Guest Users, so I felt fairly confident that this setting did not apply to my use case. However, I can't seem to find definite confirmation that this "Guest Access Expiry" setting does not apply to "Specific People" links. Since my clients links keep getting dropped, and I've now been able to reproduce this on my own account, I have to assume this is either a bug in OneDrive, or that this setting - or another setting I've not yet found - is causing the links to disappear. I've noticed on my own account that some emails get dropped off of the "Specific People" link after a certain period of time, while others do not. Even though I added all the emails to the link at the same time. This inconsistency makes it seem more like a big than something that is being controlled by an admin setting. Can someone please confirm whether the setting I referenced affects "Specific People" links, and/or if there is another OneDrive/Sharepoint/M365 setting that can cause "Specific People" links to be dropped after a certain period of time? Has anyone else noticed "Specific People" links getting dropped over time, or just one or two of the emails on a multi-person link getting dropped?590Views0likes3CommentsCalender Sharing Outlook 365 wrong permissions
Hi, my users are sharing their calenders by using "Can view titles and locations". When the recipient of the shared calender clicks on an appointment, he/she can see the details including Attachments. We are using Microsoft Exchange on Prem with hybrid MS365, all users are migrated to the cloud and using the latest version of the classic outlook.291Views0likes0CommentsUnable to remove shared file access from specific organization-members
Hi, I got a similar problem as this thread: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/SharePoint/Modern-Site-members-can-share-but-can-t-remove-share-permissions/m-p/169659 But, we are unable to see or remove people on the same tenant that has been given access to a document. Well, we can see the user who got access if we go to advanced settings, but we cant remove individual people in the same organization. It works as a charm when we share outside our organization - we are able to see who got access and can remove the access without having to enter advanced settings. Currently the only way we are able to remove access to a shared file is to remove everyone's access and give back access to those in need, but I'm guessing this will be a bit tiresome after a while. Is there anyone else who have noticed the same and have an issue with this? Br, Thomas H9.7KViews0likes9CommentsHow to move videos from Microsoft Stream (Classic) manually
This article will focus on showing you how to manually move your videos from the Microsoft Stream (Classic) channels to OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, and/or Microsoft Teams today. As previously announced in October new Team Meeting Recordings will store OneDrive or SharePoint and customers can opt-out by running a this PowerShell Script. Starting July 2021 for all Microsoft 365 customers, all Teams Meetings recordings will now be automatically stored in OneDrive for Business or SharePoint. That will mean no new Teams Meeting recordings can be saved in Microsoft Stream (Classic). Having new Team Meetings recordings in ODSP has the benefits of allowing customers to utilize the various content management capabilities like setting sensitivity / retention polices on videos, making the permissions and sharing more consistent with the Microsoft suite, increased upload quotas for videos, making meeting recordings available faster, and enabling more benefits from the OneDrive for Business and SharePoint information governance that Microsoft Stream (Classic) does not currently offer. The Microsoft Stream product team understands that many customers have a good amount of content in Classic Stream. They are actively developing a migration process to help you in this video journey. Please follow the Stream roadmap at https://aka.ms/streamroadmapupdates for more features coming out for Microsoft Stream. Meanwhile this article describes the process of manually moving videos from Classic Stream to ODSP. Download Video from Stream To access Microsoft Stream, you can navigate to web.microsoftstream.com or in the Microsoft App Launcher click on the Stream Icon. Navigate to the video you would like to move to a new location by clicking on My Content. If the video was a meeting recording, click Meetings. Click the Edit Icon to navigate to the Video Settings. While in the Video setting, click the "Download Video" button to start the download process. Once the video is downloaded to your computer, then you can start working on uploading the file to OneDrive for Business / SharePoint / Microsoft Teams. Microsoft References to upload videos.
