Brent is one of the worst affected places in the UK by the housing crisis. Every week, around 140 households in the borough become homeless and the situation has reached a critical point. With over 2,000 people, including 1,300 children, trapped in temporary accommodation, we are helping residents find a way forward into secure, affordable homes in the private rented sector. 🎉 Yesterday’s Wembley Jobs Fair was an incredible day. Our flagship event saw a record-breaking number of attendees benefiting from meeting with employers and taking their next steps towards exciting new jobs, apprenticeships and training opportunities. 👏 The event would not have been possible without our brilliant sponsors. Thank you to Vistry Group, The Football Association and Job Centre Plus for helping make our biggest jobs fair yet such a huge success. ⚽ A shout out also goes to Wembley Stadium for a fantastic venue.

This week, Brent welcomes you to a special event featuring comedy and dance – as well as employment experts who will be on hand to chat and offer support that’s tailored to people who have a disability.
