We are pleased to welcome Prosthetics and Orthotics: 3rd CDT in P&O Conference to Leeds this November. #Leeds hosts the world-leading hand transplant centre, several prosthetic devices originate from local manufacturers, and Leeds museums engage with cultural histories and practices related to the field (e.g. Thackray exhibition on limb amputation). This year’s conference has attracted fantastic volunteer keynote speakers including Lord McKinley himself, who lost four limbs to sepsis and is a prosthesis user, as well as Alex Brooker, presenter of Channel 4’s The Last Leg, who is also a prosthesis user and patron of the British Association for Prosthetics and Orthotics. Exhibition opportunities for 2025 are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
