Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Construction Site Managers and Foremen to oversee and execute civil, electrical, and structural works associated with Electric Vehicle (EV) charger installations and petrol station construction/upgrades.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. This includes managing subcontractors, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and liaising with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate site operations for EV charging points and fuel station construction.
Manage teams of tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site.
Ensure projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Report progress, issues, and milestones to project management.
Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment.
Resolve on-site challenges proactively and professionally.
Requirements:
Proven background in petrol station builds and/or EV charger installations is essential.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, method statements, and risk assessments.
Ability to lead and motivate teams under tight schedules.
SMSTS/SSSTS/ UKPIA qualification preferred.
Full UK driving licence
