Mace Group announces majority investment in Mace Consult from Goldman Sachs Alternatives.   Mace Group has announced a majority investment in Mace Consult by Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives through a carve-out from Mace Group. A major milestone worth celebrating 🙌 This week we commemorated the topping out of 30 Duke Street St. James’s, a project that’s transforming the way we approach construction by prioritising reuse, regeneration and long-term responsibility. Spanning 107,000 sq ft, this fully electric, fossil fuel-free office and retail development is a bold expression of circular principles in action. From reclaimed and recovered steel to recycled aluminium and glass, whilst also reclaiming marble, Portland stone and raised access floors, each of these materials tell a story, not of waste, but of reinvention. Some project highlights: ♻️ 78.5% reclaimed steel – the UK’s largest commercial office reuse project of its kind ⚙️ First UK commercial project to use Hydro CIRCAL 100R – 100% recycled aluminium 🔎 First London commercial project to use St. Gobain ORAÉ®️ glass - 100% recycled glass 🪨 17% of the Portland stone has been reclaimed directly from the existing building for potential reuse in the new development, avoiding 62,000 kg of new excavation 🌳 Over 194 tCO₂e saved through material reuse and innovation on the envelope and steel structure Since RIBA Stage 3 Progress like this doesn’t happen in isolation, it’s driven by boots on the ground, minds in motion and teams working with purpose. Collaborating to unlock an £11bn infrastructure opportunity. 🤝 Today, Davendra Dabasia joined the contract signing ceremony to confirm the joint venture between Mace, AtkinsRéalis, and Turner & Townsend as Anglian Water Services’ new Programme Delivery Partner. This partnership will support a 15-year capital investment programme. Commenting on the landmark signing, Davendra said: "Anglian Water's record investment into its infrastructure requires an approach to delivery that matches the ambition. Mace and its JV partners, working together as a united Programme Delivery Partner, are ready to rise to that challenge, blending the complementary skills of the three organisations to provide industry-leading solutions that lead to long-lasting, positive outcomes for customers across the region." The PDP will work in full collaboration with Anglian Water to deliver this programme and support future business plans over the next decade.
