  • 🌼 Michael Causer was a bright, kind and proud young man, just 18 years old, when his life was brutally and cruelly taken in a hate crime attack. His death shocked our communities and became a powerful catalyst for change, sparking a movement for equality, justice, and the right to live free from hate. Today, on the 17th anniversary of his murder, we stand with Michael’s family, friends, and the LGBTQIA+ community in honouring his memory. We reaffirm our commitment to tackling hate crime in all its forms and building a safer, more inclusive Merseyside for everyone. 🌈🌼

  • Elsie, Bebe and Alice. Today and always, the girls and their families, are at the forefront of our minds. Those innocent smiles, their energy and kindness, the joy they brought to all who loved them, and the work, in their memory, to help and support other children and their families, will forever be their beautiful legacy. At 3pm today, we will stand together to observe a three-minute silence to remember and honour them and all those involved. For Elsie, Bebe and Alice, their families, everybody affected by the events in Southport, and our emergency responders, you are in our thoughts, you have our love, and you will never be forgotten. ♥

  • 📽 ICYMI...Telling Tales or asking for help? We are seeing more and more school-age children becoming empowered to recognise the warning signs when somebody is trying to exploit them. This new initiative from Ariel Trust allows us to educate our children even earlier, so we can encourage more young people to speak out as soon as they feel like they are under threat or experiencing behaviours that makes them feel unsafe.

  • 🌈LIVERPOOL HAS PRIDE! 🌈 The return of #Pride this summer is a testament to the strength and spirit of our city and I encourage everyone to take part, to show up, and to stand tall in solidarity. Pride is not just a celebration, it’s a promise. A promise that we will continue to fight for equality, protect our communities, and build a future where everyone is safe, seen, and supported. Together, we are louder, prouder, love is love, and in Liverpool, love is all we need. ♥ #LiverpoolsPride
