Let’s talk suicide, today alone we will lose on average 19 people to suicide In the uk. Affecting roughly 150 people per person. So by the time you get into bed tonight 2850 have had their lives change for ever. Questions I could never ask my dad: What was your favourite colour? What did you enjoy the most as a child? How do I use this razor and cream? What do I do when I like a girl I’ve meet? Will you come to my wedding? Will you come and babysit the grandchildren this weekend ? Can I take you for food? Will you come to my Ironman ? When I lost a person I loved dearly to suicide before Christmas. I knew I had to do more. Thank you to everyone who has left a message to a loved one who has been lost to suicide. It was an honour to race in there names and have them with me. Colleagues here at @Network_Plus are virtual walking/running 🏃♂️➡️ from our #Workington site to our #StAustell one - in aid of #Manchester's amazing The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. Me and another Andrew (Bradbury) took to the the treadmill yesterday to get us a few miles nearer to 626 target. Out on site today capturing some of the brilliant work our teams are delivering as part of the Lead Renewal Scheme, for a new section of the client’s website. The client wanted to showcase just how smooth and straightforward the process is, and we’re proud to be the ones making that happen. From our field teams signing customers up and carrying out leak checks, to our skilled dig crews replacing lead pipes using the moling method, we’re making essential upgrades simple, safe, and efficient. It’s always inspiring to see the professionalism and care our teams bring to site and even better to see female field teams playing a key role out in the field 💪 The timing couldn’t have been better, either all during #NationalSafeDigWeek, shining a spotlight on the importance of safety, planning, and precision when working underground.
