Honoured to be named a #Digital #Construction Power Player for 2025. Congratulations to all fellow nominees, a privilege to work with. Throwback to 2015: that’s me, passionately (and slightly sleep-deprived) defending my very first master’s thesis — arguing that BIM & Geospatial should stop fighting and *just get along already*. I was on a mission to bring #GeoBIM to life for real #AECO industry use. Then, for the next three years, I gave up all my summer breaks (including Sun, Beaches & Freddo Espressos which for a Greek guy is bordeline criminal) to tackle #interoperability issues. And here I am, a decade after, determined to make this a reality by creating and leading #Digital #Construction applications across numerous multi-billion projects, industries and organisations, with GeoBIM being one of the fundamental pillars of digital transformation. During this journey, I have had the true pleasure of working with so many brilliant people across numerous innovative organisations, advancing together our industry. Particular thanks to National Technical University of Athens & UCL and to the inspiring professors I have worked with. When #academia and industry collaborate, sky is the limit. Thank you to the AtkinsRéalis brilliant team for their support, but also to all colleagues, friends and organisations I have had the privilege to work together the past 10 years.
