CSP Direct: Margin on Azure Fabric Capacity Reservations missing
We as a CSP Direct Partner do not get any margins on Azure Fabric Capacity Reservations. Is that generally the case, that partners do not get margins on Fabric Reservations? Or are we missing any prerequisites such as certifications, etc.? When we sell Fabric Capacity per as you go, then we get 15% margin ("partner earned credit for services managed").MCT New and Renewing MCTs - Update July 26
Updated July 26, 2025 As we step into FY26 on July 1st, 2025, I want to share some important updates regarding the MCT Program—especially for those planning to renew. New Fees Coming October 2025, no exact date and the cost will be shared at a later date. Starting July 1st, 2025, we will introduce: A renewal fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for everyone to renew) A new MCT enrollment fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for new MCTs) Our systems are currently being updated to support this change, with the new tool expected to launch in October 2025. More to come on costs. Pricing will be region supported. Session Requirement for Renewal Effective January 1st, 2026, MCTs will be required to complete six (6) sessions or six (6) days of training per calendar year to qualify for renewal. For clarity on what qualifies as a session, please refer to the attached PDF: Mandatory Use of MTM We will be enforcing stricter requirements for using Metrics That Matter (MTM) to log sessions with your Training Services Partner (TSP). Please coordinate with your TSPs to ensure MTM is being used correctly. What to Expect Next More details on program costs will be shared closer to the tool’s release. All MCTs that were MCTs before manual enrollment have been extended through January 1st, 2026, with full benefits. You’ll see this extension reflected in your profile in your MCT Trainer History NOT active certification. All current MCTs will be able to renew when the tool is available in October 2025 and the requirement to renew will be to have an active certification and have taught one class since your last renewal and pay the renewal fee (costs to come later). We will be checking that you have taught the one class using MTM. New MCTs will need ISC certificate, one role-based active certification and pay the MCT new enrollment fee. Here’s to a successful and impactful FY26!NEW ILT COURSE: IC-002T00: Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability
We are so very excited to share with you that today, 5/15 a new ILT Course offering is now available! IC-002T00: Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability. Thank you to the amazing content owner and content team for bringing this new wave of learning content to Microsoft Learn!I would like to know how to register a training partner.
I recently registered as a training partner using the "Microsoft Training Services: Partner Organization Onboarding" form. I have a few questions: 1. How long will it take to hear back after submitting the form? 2. Also, what should I do if I don't hear back?Achievement Code URL Creation Issue
Dear Team, We are unable to complete the “Learner Course & Achievement Code URL Creation” process. After generating the URL as instructed in the documentation, we do not see the “Request Achievement Code” button. We submitted the Microsoft Learn Organization Enrollment on July 8, but the issue still persists. In addition, we have already tried the troubleshooting suggestions available online, and we also attempted the enrollment process using three different email addresses — unfortunately, none of these resolved the problem. Could you please advise on what we can do next? Thank you very much for your support!New Training Services Partner Onboarding Update
Hello new TSPs. We are currently updating the onboarding process to provide better communications around process and timing. While we work to update, please send me a private message if you have completed the onboarding form and you are currently waiting on a response. I anticipate this workaround to last for a few weeks and for us to have a new process in place in January. Once the update is complete and the normal process resumes, I will delete this thread. Thanks, DanA letter verifying an organization is a Microsoft Partner
Hello I have a Microsoft Learning Partner who signed up as a Microsoft Action Pack Learning Partner this year requesting a letter showing they are a valid and verified Microsoft Learning Partner. In the "Benefits" section of the Partner Portal, there is no letter generation capability. In the previous Partner Program, there was the ability to download a letter if you were a silver or gold partner and that functionality has come through onto the partner portal for the new program. But a new partner here needs to submit a letter stating they are a Microsoft Learning Partner for a government tender. If the functionality of creating a letter is not available, how do they prove that they are a Microsoft Learning Partner? Hi. I represent a TSP in the EMEA region and for the last 3 weeks of July, we have had several redemption codes on appearing when pulling reports to verify with our attendance and course redemptions. Because of the changes in the support process, we have been hitting one brick wall after the other: The previous way for us to log a support request is no longer available (correct me if I am wrong) I have reviewed this page before I created the support request and this was the link I found for support requests. Nowhere did it say it is MCT only. I have reviewed all the links and an escalation path for this is either hidden so well or not there that I could find Is the TSP forum then the correct escalation path? TSP Community forumMicrosoft Partner Center Account Verification Issues - Steps Unresponsive
Hello fellow members, I am currently facing an issue with the Microsoft Partner Center's account verification process, and I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered a similar problem or if there's a workaround that I might have missed. I have been trying to verify my account as guided by their official documentation (Verification Responses Guide). Here are the steps I followed: I went to Account Settings and clicked on the Legal Info, then clicked on the "Fix now" button as instructed. The next step mentions "In Account Verification, from Select document type to upload, select the type of document you want to upload for verification". This is where the problem lies. After Step 1, the "Account Verification" tab or option simply doesn't appear for me. It feels as though the process just halts there. I tried to find a way around it, assuming maybe it's a browser issue or some temporary glitch, but multiple attempts yielded the same result. Through different browsers, different computers at different times. I also raised support tickets regarding this matter, but unfortunately, I haven't received any concrete responses yet. They only keep directing me back to the same steps that are unresponsive. And this has been over a month now and I kinda get stuck. Has anyone here faced a similar challenge or has any insights on how I can proceed with this? I appreciate all the help and suggestions I can get. Thanks in advance!Important KPI Update for 1-Day, Non-Certification Aligned Courses
Hi all, please see Mindy's post on the ILT Communications Blog regarding the recent changes to 1-day, non-certification aligned courses. New Course Pages Now Live for 1-Day, Non-Cert-Aligned ILTs | Microsoft Community Hub This update changes the URL for these courses now that they have their own dedicated course pages. If you're using the updated Title Plan URLs then you are set, and no further action is needed. If you are using old or manually composed URLs you may miss out on KPI performance credit moving forward. Please always leverage the Title Plan when creating your URLs. You can find the Title Plan on the ILT Communications Blog.AWS Marketplace
Hell All - I need some help with an AWS Marketplace "compete" issue. Customer needs to execute a renewal with Snowflake, and prefers to do it via MP to decrement their MACC. They run Snowflake in Azure, AWS and GCP. The customer’s AWS account team let them know that they can transact the entire renewal, for all 3 clouds, on AWS Marketplace. As part of this, AWS will also provide the customer “service credits” and the ability to allocate them across any cloud, and use the credits as they see fit. Is there someone I can speak with?15Views0likes0CommentsOngoing Partner Verification Issues – I Need Help and Direction
At the end of 2024, I joined forces with a few close colleagues to create a global training company based in the U.S., with the goal of becoming a Microsoft partner focused on bridging the growing global skills gap in tech. As a Brazilian, I took every necessary step to legally establish the company in the United States — from business formation and IRS registration (EIN) to securing a D-U-N-S Number and setting up the domain and operations. Everything was done by the book, with transparency and diligence. On April 11, the company’s EIN was officially issued. I believed the hardest part was over. But what I wasn’t prepared for was the complexity and opacity of the Microsoft Partner verification process. Since May, I’ve been trying to verify the business and my personal identity to officially join the Microsoft Partner Network. I've submitted every required document multiple times — company formation papers, domain ownership proof, D-U-N-S details, IRS registration, and even identity verification via Microsoft Authenticator. To date, I’ve opened six different support tickets. I also reached out to a community manager who helps partners here but unfortunately, nothing has moved forward. The latest ticket was closed with the same response I’ve received multiple times: "We've reviewed your request for verification. Based on the information you have provided to date, we have determined that your organization does not currently meet the requirements to pass verification. We have closed your application. If you decide to reapply, please review the information at http://aka.ms/PartnerVerification..." This message is always the same, vague, generic, and without any actionable feedback on what exactly is missing. To make matters worse, we had to cancel our launch event scheduled for early July, which was to feature several MVPs, MCTs, and other community leaders. Without partner verification, we can’t operate or deliver what we’ve been building for months. What hurts the most is that the company I’ve admired and championed for years, as an MCT and community member — is now the one unintentionally preventing us from moving forward. I’m sharing this here with the hope that someone from the community or Microsoft can help guide or escalate the situation. We’ve done everything by the book, and just want the opportunity to contribute and to help others grow through training and empowerment. Any help or direction would mean a lot.
