🚧 The first tunnel boring machine for Line 15 West is ready to head to Nanterre! 🚛 Last week, our teams were at Herrenknecht AG in Germany for the handover of the first tunnel boring machine that will operate on the Line 15 West of the Grand Paris Express. 🛠️ Designed in close collaboration with the Intencités15 consortium and the Société des grands projets, this earth pressure balance tunnel boring machine is impressive in its size: 110 metres long, 1,700 tonnes, and a shield with a diameter of 9.87 metres equipped with 136 cutting tools. It was assembled, tested, and approved after over a year of joint work between French and German teams. 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 Cette année pour l'édition 2025 des Safety Days, deux thématiques ont été mises à l'honneur: - La santé mentale au travail - La gestion des travaux temporaires Un programme a été établi sur la semaine par VINCI Construction avec des vidéos, mais aussi des rencontres avec des professionnels afin de sensibiliser les collaborateurs et aborder un sujet parfois laissé en second plan alors qu'il s'avère tout aussi important que la sécurité physique sur nos chantiers. Il est de notre devoir de veiller à la sécurité de chacun de nos collaborateurs ainsi que de leur bien-être au travail, afin que tous puissent rentrer chez eux sain et sauf chaque jour. * * * 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 For this year's Safety Days 2025 edition, two subjects were highlighted: - Mental health - Temporary works management VINCI Construction set up a week-long program with videos, as well as meetings with professionals, to raise employee awareness and address a subject that is sometimes forgotten, even though it is just as important as physical safety on our worksites. It's our duty to ensure the safety of each and every one of our employees, as well as their well-being at work, so that everyone can go home safe and sound every day.

🚧 Excavation Milestone This month, Ontario Transit Group achieved several milestones for the Ontario Line 👏 At the future King-Bathurst station, the team celebrated the completion of the north headwall. Over at the future Queen-Spadina station, the east headwall of the station cavern has been established with the western headwall expected to be reached by the end of September 2025. Crews marked completion of the first sections from end to end. Together, these achievements represent approximately 140 metres of excavation, with headwalls acting as the “bookends” of both limits. So far, more than 15,000m3 of rock has been excavated from both sites. We’re proud of the progress and excited for what's ahead on the Ontario Line! 🚇 #proudtobeOTG #OntarioTransitGroup #construction #ontarioline
