[Press release 📢] Colas’ half-year results are now available online! A few facts about Colas’ half-year 2025 results… ➡️ The order backlog continued to increase, namely driven by order intakes from the Rail segment. ➡️ Sales rose slightly, with an increase in the Rail segment and the North Europe and APAC zones. ➡️ The current operating profit (COPA) slightly improved compared to last year, driven by the Rail segment and the EMEA and APAC zones. ➡️ The net debt was at €511 million at end of June 2025, an improvement of €163 million compared to end of June 2024. What is the outlook for 2026? In a very uncertain economic and geopolitical environment, the Colas Group has strong fundamentals. #Worksite On July 15, the first stone of the future LISEA maintenance site was laid in Marcheprime 🚆 A major milestone that marks the launch of a major project in which we are proud to participate, in a consortium with Spie batignolles, project leader, Colas France, Ineo Defense, SafeRail SAS and BRIAND on behalf of LISEA. This will be the first private and independent Maintenance and Stabling Facility in France. Strategically located, this site will host the future High-Speed Trains (TAGV) of the new railway operator Velvet beginning in 2028, and will play a key role in the maintenance and performance of tomorrow's rolling stock on the Atlantic coast🚧 Some key project figures: ✔ Track: 3.5 km of track, 6,200 sleepers, 30 switches and crossings ✔ Signalling, CFA/CFO: 30 switch motors, 70 signals, 25Kv / 1.5Kv traction power in partnership with our subsidiary SafeRail ✔ Catenary: 30 flexible gantries, 19 section insulators, 3 km of feeder cable installation, 170 catenary poles, 600 m of retractable catenary ✔ VRD: 120,000 m³ of earthworks, 8 km of drainage systems, 45,000 t of graded aggregates ✔ Maintenance equipment: tandem underfloor wheel lathe, train washing machine, three train drainage lines, 28 mobile jacks, ultrasonic test bench This multi-trade project mobilizes all of Colas Rail's know-how to build a high-performance, sustainable and safe site. #Worksite Since March 2023, Colas Rail has been managing the design and construction of a green hydrogen production, storage and distribution unit in Dunkirk. A first for the company, and a major milestone for clean mobility in France! 🎯The aim? To power the Dunkirk Urban Community's future hydrogen-powered buses and garbage truck. Supported by the SHYMED project company (Hynamics - EDF, CUD, Groupe Caisse des Dépôts), the project combines technical innovation and environmental commitment: ✔️ a 1.25 MW electrolyzer ✔️ 816 kg of hydrogen stored on site ✔️ two distribution stations delivering between 350 and 700 bars depending on the vehicle ✔️ Reinforced safety rules in ATEX zones This innovative project is being carried out in a consortium with SPAC SAS (Groupe Colas) and Colas France, with Colas Rail acting as lead contractor. #PressRelease Colas Rail and ETF win a new contract in Chile! We are proud to announce that Colas Rail, in a consortium with ETF (a VINCI Construction subsidiary), has been selected by Dragados-Besalco to build the second section of the Alameda-Melipilla railway line, on behalf of the Chilean state-owned company EFE (Empresa de Ferrocarriles del Estado). The 21.5 km project, due to start at the end of August 2025, involves : ✔️ dismantling the existing tracks ✔️ supplying and installing railway equipment (rails, sleepers, ballast, catenaries, etc.) ✔️ building three new ballasted tracks (2 passenger, 1 freight) ✔️ commissioning this new suburban line. Objective: to offer a new low-carbon transport solution between Santiago and its south-western region, benefiting 57 million passengers/year, and reducing journey times by one hour. #PressRelease We are proud to announce that Colas Rail UK has been awarded a five-year contract by Network Rail to operate and maintain eleven Rail Head Treatment Trains (RHTTs) across the UK during the autumn season. And that’s not all: Colas Rail UK will also be responsible for nation-wide winter snow clearance operations, including the maintenance of the dedicated fleet – snow ploughs, snow blowers and more. This €58 million contract will begin in August 2025, with the possibility of annual extensions for up to three additional years.
