  • Businesses in Blackburn with Darwen – this is for you! 📢    Last week marked the relaunch of The HIVE – part of our powerful new partnership with Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone.   The first 'Supporters Lunch' brought together some of the borough’s leading businesses.   And a standout panel included leaders from Graham & Brown, WEPA, Herbert Parkinson (John Lewis), Blackburn Chemicals and Multevo – with inspiring conversations around ambition, investment, and inclusive growth.   This is the start of a bold new chapter for business networking in BwD – building on the Youth Zone’s thriving patron base of nearly 80 businesses and opening the door to even more opportunities for collaboration.   And we want you to be a part of it!   💬 Councillor Phil Riley, Leader of the Council, said:   "We’re proudly pro-growth – outperforming national benchmarks and continuing to invest in our borough.    "Now is the perfect time to strengthen our network, working hand-in-hand with local businesses to deliver even greater impact.”   💬 Wayne Wild MBE, Chair of Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone, added:   "This is about businesses coming together to support young people, invest in the future and help shape a stronger, more prosperous Blackburn with Darwen."   📅 The next Supporters Lunch takes place in September, focusing on the Lancashire devolution deal and what it could mean for your business.   📩 Want to get involved or attend future events?   Please email: melanie.thomas@blackburnyz.org   🔗 You can also learn more about the Youth Zone’s impressive patron network:   https://lnkd.in/d2VEF7m
