🚀 YBP x Wholesale Mixer Event   Yesterday, we had the pleasure of partnering with BT’s Young Black Professionals (YBP) Community to host an inspiring, dynamic mixer. The event was designed to:   - Fostering Connections – Building meaningful relationships within the Wholesale community 🤝 - Inspiring Career Growth – Exploring Wholesale’s functions, opportunities, and career pathways 🪴 - Championing Diversity – Celebrating and advocating for diversity across the business 🌍   Our MD Thea Sztejka joined a panel discussion, diving into the importance of mentorship and sponsorship, the value of candid feedback, pathways to leadership, allyship, and creating an inclusive workplace.   Creating space for these honest conversations, and taking meaningful action, is vital.   A huge thank you to the YBP community for making this event such a success. 🤝

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Andy Lord, Commissioner of Transport for London (TfL), for an insightful session on the future of London’s transport infrastructure with BusinessLDN. 💡 Key highlights included: - Funding & investment needs: TfL has been allocated £4.4bn until March 2030 - private investment is critical to bridge the gap. - Operating model: TfL is exploring a Hong Kong-style operating surplus model to drive financial sustainability. - Infrastructure for growth: Supporting the Mayor of London’s target of 88,000 new homes per year will require significant infrastructure investment - Savings & efficiency: TfL has already achieved £285m in savings this year, contributing to a £1.8bn target over 9 years. - Connectivity: By next year, London’s entire transport network - above and below ground - will be fully connected via Boldyn Networks.
