As the curtain begins to close on another academic year, CR Reynolds Limited reflects on what has been a very busy ten months. Since September 2024, we have taken part in 20 careers events and workshops, delivered 5 school assemblies, and hosted 5 work experience students. We have also become a proud Platinum member of the 5% Club in recognition of our dedication to providing earn and learn opportunities for our staff. We hope that through our continual engagement with young people and providing opportunities to work alongside our dedicated site and head office staff, we have given valuable insight into our incredible industry and inspired some of the civil engineers of tomorrow. We wish the students, teachers, and careers advisors that we have engaged with a well deserved and restful summer break.

2025 has been a truly inspiring year for Career Learning at Sirius Academy West. Our students have had access to a wide range of opportunities that have helped them grow in confidence, expand their aspirations, and make more informed choices about their futures. We’re incredibly proud of how far they’ve come — and even more proud to end the year retaining the National Quality in Careers Standard using the Career Mark Approach provided by Complete Careers🏆 This wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable input and support from our partners, employers, and wider community. CR Reynolds Limited collaborated with like-minded companies today to showcase the many career opportunities in our industry. We engaged with students from across 16 schools in attendance at the North East Lincolnshire Skills Fair, offering careers guidance and asking them to participate in various activities. We also discussed some of the projects that we have completed for our valued client, North East Lincolnshire Council.

Works are progressing well with the erection of the steel trusses to the storage shed for our valued client TSG terminals. Long may this glorious weather continue. 

CR Reynolds Limited is delighted to host our latest site-based work experience placement, Klaudiusz. This week, he will be working alongside our Project Delivery Team on our Princes Dock Street and Humber Dock Street Upgrades project being completed for our valued client, Hull City Council.

CR Reynolds Limited were back at Zetland Primary School today working on close collaboration with Jacqui Hutchinson to deliver the last session of the Building Our Futures programme. During the session, with help from Sharon Lumb from Southern Green, we judged the children's entries for our 'Design a Health and Safety Sign competition. The high quality of the design entries made it so hard to judge third, second, and first place! Well done to all the children for engaging so much during the sessions and for their hard work. CR Reynolds Limited are delighted to have attended the prestigious Building Safety Group Awards 2025 ceremony. We are honoured and proud to be presented with 'The Best Health & Safety in Planning & Design Award' for our New Holland Dock Eastern Bullnose Repair and Reconstitution Project. Being awarded our fifth Building Safety Group award since 2018 is testament to our company's dedication in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and those potentially affected by our works.

CR Reynolds Limited is delighted to host Mohamad from Sirius Academy West on his work experience placement this week. He is working with our Project Delivery Team on our prestigious Queen's Gardens project, being delivered for our valued client, Hull City Council. Over the week, Mohamad will be gaining invaluable knowledge from our Site Engineer and project management team to support his classroom learning and future career path.
