AWM Successfully Delivers First Load to Enfinium, Skelton Grange Associated Waste Management Limited, a group business of Beauparc, is proud to announce the successful delivery of the first load of waste to the enfinium Skelton Grange facility, marking a significant milestone in the commissioning phase of the site. The delivery, which took place on Monday 3rd March, is a key step in enhancing the supply chain and contributing to the operational efficiency of the Skelton Grange site, which will be fully operational later in the year. Enfinium Skelton Grange, a £500m state-of-the-art energy-from-waste plant, will play a vital role in the development of the sustainable management and decarbonisation of unrecyclable waste for West Yorkshire and the wider region. The collaboration between the two organisations aims to ensure a steady and efficient flow of waste to the facility, supporting its ongoing efforts in transforming waste into valuable energy. Once operational, the site will have the capacity to divert over 400k tonnes of unrecyclable waste from landfill annually whilst generating 49MW of homegrown energy. As well as providing homegrown energy to the local area, the site will also harness heat from the operation, and through funding provided by the Government's Green Heat Network Fund, will offer reliable, sustainable heating to homes and businesses. The partnership "We are thrilled to have successfully delivered the first load to Enfinium, Skelton Grange," said Brian Bolger, Group Operations Director of Beauparc. "This achievement demonstrates our commitment to cutting edge, circular solutions in partnership with like-minded supply chain organisations such as Enfinium. We look forward to a continued strong partnership and contributing to the plant's sustainability goals." The first delivery highlights AWM's capability in managing complex logistics operations and its dedication to supporting the homegrown energy sector. Both AWM and Enfinium are committed to promoting environmental sustainability through innovative solutions, and this delivery marks a continuation in their ongoing collaboration. AWM and Enfinium will continue to work closely together to ensure the seamless and efficient transportation of materials to the Skelton Grange facility, furthering their shared goal of environmental responsibility and energy efficiency.
