Since 2018, our critical care cars have been a vital part of our fleet, helping us reach patients quickly when every second counts 🚨💙 We now have four vehicles, based at our Barton and Blackpool airbases, ready to respond when our helicopters can't fly due to bad weather or when landing isn’t possible, like in busy city centres. Whether by road or air, we're here to deliver lifesaving care wherever it’s needed most.

One in five of our lifesaving missions are funded by gifts in Wills. We receive no government or NHS funding, we rely on generous people like you. Leaving a gift in your Will could help fund vital interventions, that can mean the difference between life and death. Our free Will writing service is simple, flexible, and easy to use. Choose a local solicitor or do it online from the comfort of your home. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/enZ32M42

In June we responded to 325 incidents across the North West. 🤕 The most common incident type was medical, which can include things like cardiac arrests and heart attacks 🗺️ Our busiest area was Greater Manchester 🚁 Our busiest aircraft was H72 which responded to 98 incidents 🩸 We provided 8 pre-hospital blood transfusions at scene We receive no NHS or government funding. This is only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters. 📸 Thanks to Pilot James for this week's #ViewFromTheCrew

The NWAA Firewalk is back! 🔥 After the success of our first event earlier this year, we’re bringing the heat once again on 7th November 2025, and you’re invited to take on the challenge! 👣 What is a firewalk? It’s an empowering, adrenaline-fuelled experience where you’ll walk barefoot over red-hot embers, all in support of our lifesaving work. Raise a minimum of £95 in sponsorship and step up for a cause that truly saves lives. 🎥 Curious what it’s like? Watch the video from our last event and see what you're in for! Your donation is powerful. Your generosity fuels our helicopter and cars, allowing us to deliver critical care 365 days a year. But, is also gives families time. Time to make more memories. And sometimes, the time to say goodbye. It gives loved one’s precious moments they might not otherwise have. Your support doesn’t just impact patients; it affects their families and friends. If you can, donate today and be there for families across the North West. You never know when you’ll need us, but we need you every day. Visit nwaa.info/donate2025 to donate.
