  • Over the past month, we’ve been marking our 25th birthday out in our communities with our customers - celebrating how we’ve grown together since 2000. The family orientated events were packed with fun, including face painting, games, football, and free ice cream. We were also impressed with the artistic skills of our younger customers as part of our children’s colouring competition. We met around 250 customers over the two events, and received some lovely feedback including: “I would like to say a big thank you for hosting the wonderful 25th birthday party and fun-filled family afternoon. It was a truly memorable day for us and, I’m sure, for many others in the neighbourhood. A great start to the school holidays.” Thank you to all our customers and stakeholders who came along!

  • We’re pleased to share that we’ve appointed Suzanne Maguire as our new Executive Director of Corporate Services.   Suzanne brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise, as well as demonstrating a strong connection with our purpose and values. She’s currently the Director of Governance and Risk at Amplius, one of the largest housing providers across the Midlands, East, and Southeast of England.   Our Chief Executive Sarah Thomas says: “We’re delighted to welcome Suzanne to RHP Group, who brings with her valuable expertise, particularly in relation to maintaining high standards of governance. We’re confident that her experience of the sector and beyond will make her an integral part of our senior leadership team, helping us to achieve our ambitious goals for the future.” We look forward to Suzanne coming on board in September.

  • On 17 July 2000, we completed a stock transfer with Richmond Council and RHP was born. We’re proud to have grown together with our customers, communities, and colleagues over the past 25 years. During this time we’ve expanded our reach and social impact, providing more safe, secure homes for local people. We started with 7,200 homes in the borough of Richmond, and we now own and manage over 11,000, spanning the additional boroughs of Hounslow, Kingston, Hillingdon, and Spelthorne. As we look to the future, we remain as committed as ever to listening, learning, and growing – working with our customers to improve what we do. Thank you to everyone who has shared our journey along the way!

  • At RHP Group, we’re committed to building a culture where everyone feels heard, respected, and free to be their authentic selves. We know that diversity is one of our greatest strengths - and we’re proud to celebrate it. As part of our Pride Month celebrations, we invited colleagues to reflect on what Pride means to them, or how they show up as allies to the LGBTQ+ community. Each person shared their thoughts on a piece of fabric, which we joined together into a vibrant bunting now displayed in our office. The result? A powerful, colourful tapestry of support, solidarity, and respect - and a reminder of the importance of inclusion every day of the year. Happy Pride to our LGBTQ+ customers, colleagues, and community 🌈

  • Earlier this month, as part of our activities for Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW), we supported ‘Wear it Green Day’, designed to raise awareness and break the stigma around mental health. As this year’s theme for MHAW was community, we thought it was apt to use the day to raise money for our nominated charity The Vineyard Community Centre, who do vital work to support people facing crisis and battling homelessness in our local neighbourhoods. We were blown away by the support of our colleagues on the day, with many of them looking glorious in green and making generous donations. We’re committed to making conversations about mental health the norm all year round, as it helps us better understand our customers and each other, and offer the right support where needed.

  • We’re delighted to have appointed Emma Prince as our new Executive Director of Finance. Emma brings with her 19 years’ experience in the water industry, acting at a senior level, most recently as Group Finance Director for SES Water. Our Chief Executive Sarah Thomas says: “We’re excited to welcome Emma to RHP Group. She has a proven track record of delivering strong financial results, whilst being an inspiring leader and strategic thinker. There is a great deal of cross-over between the water and housing sectors – both being highly regulated environments and providing essential services. I am confident Emma’s experience and expertise will help us to maintain our financial strength, whilst bringing a fresh perspective to enable us to keep getting better”. Emma will join us in September. In the meantime, we’re pleased to have Laura Awosile with us as our Interim Executive Director of Finance, who has 20 years' experience in the housing sector. As an experienced finance leader, she has worked at a senior level at Origin Housing and One Housing. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eF6_Qw4n

Earlier this week we were joined by customers in Barnes to showcase one of the completed homes in our £19m retrofit project. By March 2026, we’ll have upgraded 191 homes with energy-saving improvements in the form of insulation, solar panels, and better ventilation. It was fantastic to meet lots of customers at the event– our team spent the day answering questions and explaining how these upgrades will mean warmer homes and lower bills. The event, hosted by our contractor Mullalley, gave everyone a clear look at the quality and impact of the work underway. With £2.62m from the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund alongside our investment, this project is a big step toward cutting energy costs and carbon emissions for our Barnes community.

  • In the run up to International Women's Day, we believe that actions speak louder than words. A key part of our culture is to create a gender-equal workplace, where everyone is valued and celebrated, and women are paid fairly compared to men. We’re proud that women make up over half of our senior leadership team and board, and our mean gender pay gap is slightly in favour of women. Thank you to everyone who contributes to our inclusive culture. #IWD2025
