When 18-year-old Morgan Penny took a bite of a 'may-contain' snack bar before her A-level exam, she had no idea it would trigger a near-fatal allergic reaction. But - thanks to our life-saving emergency Anaphylaxis Kitt at Cotham School in Bristol, she’s here to tell the tale. A hidden Brazil nut sent her into anaphylactic shock, and with seconds to spare, staff used the wall-mounted adrenaline kit to bring her back from the brink. Morgan’s story is a chilling reminder of how fast allergies can strike - and how vital quick access to adrenaline can be. This is the 16th time one of our Kitts have been used to save a life since we launched in 2023.
